Introduction to the Old Testament
Description
The Introduction to the Old Testament class will cover the 39 books of the Hebrew Bible. Students will be expected to watch several Bible Project videos and complete accompanying scripture readings each week before class. They will also be required to answer questions each week and hand them in at the start of every class. Upon completion of the course each student will have a basic understanding of the chronology, characters, themes, and theological concepts of the Old Testament. This will also provide a foundation for the Introduction to the New Testament class which will be offered at a later date. Students should expect to do anywhere from 2 to 4 hours’ worth of work outside of class each week while taking the course.
