WEDNESDAY | JUNE 19 | LIVING WITH A TRANSFORMED MIND
Living with a Transformed Mind
PRESENTED BY: MIKE REDMAN
We are told in scripture to be transformed by the renewing of our minds and that we have the “mind of Christ.” But what does this really mean and how does it happen? Every person struggles with thoughts and emotions that are unhealthy and that keep us from experiencing the freedom that Jesus desires for us. The scriptures have a lot to say about our thoughts and the impact they have on our lives. But also within the last 20 years, science has begun to reveal things about our brains that have significant spiritual impact in our lives. When we understand the science of the mind, open oursleves up to scripture and the healing work of the Spirit, we can have minds that are Christ-like and we can experience freedom and healing. So if you struggle with shame, lust, fear, anxiety, negativity, anger, uncontrolled emotions, and other habitual sin thought patterns we are going to talk about what this means scientifically and spiritually. We will also talk about Dr. Caroline Leaf’s 21 Day Brain Detox. It’s a powerful tool for seeing your mind transformed into the mind of Christ.

Breaking the Silence
PRESENTED BY: STEVE & BEV ROOZEBOOM
Mental illness can be very isolating. If a church is silent on the subject, it seems to affirm the message to those living with a mental illness, as well as their loved ones, that they are alone. In this session, we will discuss how we, as a church, can break the silence and stigma surrounding mental illness. We will also explore ways to walk alongside and encourage families affected by mental health disorders.
TUESDAY | JULY 30 | SOCIAL JUSTICE
PRESENTED BY: TIM BRAND
Jesus came to reconcile all things to himself (Col 1:15-20). This reconciliation is deeper than “fixing things,” rather social justice seeks to heal people’s brokeness in their relationship to God, self, others and the rest of creation. Join us as we dive deep to understanding the world’s greatest ills, God’s reconciliation power, and how we engage from our brokeness to meet people for God’s redemptive purpose.
WEDNESDAY | JULY 31 | PURITY CODE
PRESENTED BY: KAREN CLEVELAND
God has a beautiful design for sex and sexuality. But God’s design has been twisted and confused and marred in our all too sex-crazed society. Even the church can often send confusing or mixed signals on the topic of sex. How can we return to living out God’s beatiful design for sex and sexuality in all stages of life? And how can we respond wisely to the lies and confusion in society, and even the church?
