Loving Our Neighbors

Would you be part of our neighboring movement?

We long to see this current challenge as an opportunity to love our neighbors well, as Jesus asked (really commanded) us to do.  On this page you will find all of our current initiatives for loving our neighbors. Come back often, as we’ll be adding new opportunities to the movement regularly and as the local situation continues to change.

Love You, Neighbor

 “Love you, Neighbor” Initiative

We believe this simple way of loving can have a profound impact on our community as people know that they are being seen and having their needs met. Simply:
• Click the button below and print out the door hanger.
• Complete the information by hand, being sure to check the items that apply to how YOU are able to help.
• Cut it out.
• Hang it on your neighbors’ doors (or anyone around your community who has been on your heart)
• See what opportunities come your way!

Door Hanger

For even more fun, consider printing it on colored paper or coloring a picture or writing a personal note on the back. It will be sure to brighten your neighbors’ day! You don’t have to do this alone! Join with a friend, small group, your family or other neighbors to serve together. Just be sure to stay current on all CDC guidelines to know that you are serving and loving in the safest ways possible.

 “7 Ways” Initiative

According to Catapult Group, "the scattered church is now in every crack and crevice of every neighborhood." So, they ask, how do we effectively love our neighbors? More than 1,500 of the churches in their coaching groups brainstormed together and these are 7 of our simplest, most effective best practices that are already bearing spiritual fruit. Here's the link to their download.
