Humbled in the Turning: Discussion Guides-Lent 2020
The season of Lent, celebrated by those seeking to flourish in the exile of post-Christendom, is an opportunity to acknowledge our finitude and failings. Lent is also an invitation to cultivate a flourishing relationship with the One who turns to us in mercy, compassion and love. Together we turn back to Him in humility and vulnerability. As we journey toward His day of crucifixion, we are sickened by the horrors of sin, separation, and death. Then, as Easter approaches, we are humbled in the turning from death to (new) life.
