Where children experience the presence of the Lord!
Shammah City is the name of our Children's Ministry program at Third Church. Shammah means "the presence of the Lord," so it is our prayer and our goal to provide a place where children can enter and experience the presence of the Lord in a very real, exciting and meaningful way.
This year in Shammah City is going to
be one of celebration!
Celebrate means:
1. To show happiness at something
2. To mark the occasion
3. Praise something
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalm 139:14. Each child that comes to Children’s Ministry at Third Church is “fearfully and wonderfully made”. This year we are going to explore new ways to show the importance of each child by providing meaningful, effective programming which is biblically strong, academically appropriate, enjoyable and life transformational. We are going to mark special occasions with special events, and give God the glory and praise for this generation!
Our Mission Statement
Sending out servant hearted children with a passion for Jesus into the World. Shammah City Nursery: Here the smallest children (ages 0-2) receive jesus' love.
WHAT YOU'LL FIND IN SHAMMAH CITY
Waumba Land: Where our creator reigns, for age 3 through preschool.
Sonshine Cinema: Where the son's shine is reel, for k-1st grade.
Luma Loft: This illuminating place is for 2nd-3rd graders.
Route 456: Where life is a journey and god holds the map, for 4th, 5th, & 6th graders.
