Groups at Third Church are modeled after the early church. The Apostles teach us that in community, the early church truly lived life together in ways that exhibited Kingdom culture. This ministry sets out to get people out of rows and into circles while focusing on things of the Kingdom. This is one way we make Big Church Small. With a Group of 6-12 people meeting regularly, we see members grow in their relationships with others and Jesus. Check out the listing below for groups ready to launch.
Childcare is always available by group or on an individual basis, as we never want lack of childcare to be an obstacle for participation. Talk with your GROUP leader about how this works or contact Jenny Hesseltine.
This ministry year we have a really cool opportunity to engage with the scripture of the book of Acts in tangible ways as GROUPS gather for the purpose of digging deeper into our sermon series focused on that book exactly! GROUPS will receive their weekly teaching by attending, watching or listening online to sermons in the sanctuary or auditorium and then gathering for the purpose of discussion in the in-between. GROUPS will meet from mid-September 2018 through July 2019 with breaks for Advent (the month of December) and Lent (March 10-April 21).
